i know this is not right...i should fight this...but right now just wanna be a bum...

My First...

August 11, 2009 marked the day of achieving a dream since the day I said yes to serve HIM. This was the day that I was given the privilege to share God's word and wisdom to my fellow leaders. Despite the harassments, hesitations and fear...with God's grace and guidance I fulfilled my duty.

Thanks to my brothers and sisters in the community and my parents who boost my confidence.
Thanks to Lhen, Bheng & Jem for checking out the images that I require for the powerpoint. For the reassuring words and advices of tatey, naney, sm, lt & lj.

After a hilarous moment with the Kids, I together with Lhen, Marge and Shar decided to have lunch in Chowking while waiting for 1730H (call time for 7 haven). We played 3 truths and 1 lie, it's funny cause they said it's difficult to tell some truths about themselves. Afterwards, we placed Shar in the spotlight since she didn't attended our previous HH. We threw personal questions to her which she answered like a celebrity. I saw the sincerity of her heart as she reveals a part of herself in every question.

The four of us decided to move to Al Ghurair food court and wait for the rest of the group, as most of them called up to inform that they are on the way (if I'm not mistaken they called up around 1745H). It was almost 1900H when we met Bertz who shared his vacation and "pamamanhikan" story with us. The next batch who arrived where Tim, Jhel and Mervin... the wacky conversation went into full blast when Shar started sharing her jokes (daw).

Pizza Company

It's nice that Bertz led us into prayer before starting our dinner, i felt the sincerity as He thanked God. We shared a sumptous dinner filled with laughter. This was also the that we had some brainstorming of our next official fellowship.

StarBucks

Since no one wants to miss out the chance of being together, instead of going home, we headed to a coffee shop. Thanks to the complimentary voucher, that everyone had the chance to get cooled up with a blended frappe. While everyone else is busy having their own conversation, me and Lhen just spent "emo mode" while listening to some nice music courtesy of Jem's N81.

It was already past 2300H when we finally decided to part ways and call it a night.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for bringing these beautiful people into my life. Thank you for the opportunity to be able to share a part of ourselves with one another. Thank you for the friendship, brotherhood and sisterhood. Thank you for spending a moment with us. Amen.

Putting Things In Order

Yesterday is one Friday I'll surely love to repeat over again...

Yesterday, I've spent the whole morning cleaning up every inch of dust in our flat. Whew! I ended up full of sweat but was amazed to that our place looked and smelled fresh. Lunch was served with a mouthwatering "lechon kawali" which the rest of the family shared together while having a chit-chat. After filling in my tummy, I prepared myself to go for my scheduled service for the week.

Even before entering room 1 of St. Mary's mini-hall, i could hear small cackling voices. And as I came in I saw the angelic faces of the KFC (Kids 4 Christ) participants who are attentively listening to their facilitator.

I together with my lower HH (lhen, marge & Shar) volunteered to assist the junior kids. The kids were grouped according to animals - cats, dog, birds and cows. It really funny when you hear them make those animal sounds cause they have their own version.

We all danced, singed, laughed and learned in this activity. It's truly amazing how God taught us (the volunteers) how innocent these little angels are and how He favors them for such attitude.

Together with the kids, I learned the value of putting things in order especially in my personal life. Looking forward to serve KFC again.

FRIDAY Ratsada

Out of 7 days in week, I am only privileged to have one rest day...FRIDAY is my free day. But last July 31, 2009 - ratsada ako to the max...

saan ang kaganap? eh di sa Hamarain. Simula pa lang kwela na ang surprise...imagine...we had to convince naney lala 3 times para lang maniwala siyang surprise birthday celebration ito sa kanya...atleast effective ang surprise...

Atlantis gala
it was meant for Bro. Rey from Oman...since visitor siya, dapat lang na igala siya sa Dubai...kya lang napansin ko...naging official photog siya ng SFC Dubai...hahaha...ang kulit ng mga elders, ang shuttle ng Atlantis nagmistulang school bus...

Chowking dinner
Abah, tinamaan din ng pagod at gutom ang mga maiingay...galit-galit while having our dinner...pero ratsado ulit nang mapunan ang gutom na sikmura...kulitan...piktyuran..at tawanan...
